威廉·薩默塞特·毛姆（1874-1965），英國小說家、劇作家，畢業於倫敦聖托馬斯醫學院，後棄醫從文。1952年，牛津大學授予名譽博士學位；1954年，英王室授予「榮譽侍從」稱號。
